This virus attacks and destroys white blood cells in the human body. If the white blood cells in the human body is damaged, the immune system would be disrupted. This can cause the human body is very fragile and can not survive the attack of disease.

HIV virus is the source of AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). HIV virus takes a long time to take over and destroy white blood cells in the human body.
