How To Reduce The Risk Of Insomnia - What is insomnia? Insomnia can be defined as a situation where someone is having trouble to sleep. Insomnia can affect anyone, adults and even children. There are many things that can cause a person stricken with insomnia, such as family problems, financial problems, job problems and another things that can trigger stress.

Insomnia is not a congenital disease, and thus would be easily cured. Here are some tips that you can do to reduce the risk of insomnia:

1. Exercise regularly
Regular exercise can help you to reduce sleep problems. The best time to exercise is in the morning. With exercise, your body's health will be more optimal and can fight stress better.

2. Do not eat and drink too much before you sleep
Do not eat and drink too much before you sleep, your stomach will become uncomfortable. As a result you will more often go to the toilet and of course it will disturb your sleep.

3. Do not drink coffee
Do not drink coffee before you sleep. Coffee contains caffeine that can stimulate the nerves that can make you difficult to sleep.

4. Sleep in a comfortable environment
A comfortable environment will determine the quality of your sleep. When you sleep, turn off your bedroom lights, turn off also all the things that can make noise. Make sure that the temperature in your room can make you feel comfortable.

5. Warm bath
Go take a warm bath for 30 minutes or one hour before you sleep. Warm bath can help you to reduce body tension.

6. Relaxed
Try to feel relaxed. Stop all your activities one hour before you sleep. Clear your mind, try to forget all of the things that can cause you stress.

7. Regular sleep time
Make a regular sleep time. If you go to sleep at 10.00 pm every day, try to sleep at the same time in the next day. Irregular sleep time may increase the risk of insomnia.
