Important Role Of Protein For Healthy - What is protein? Proteins are complex organic compounds containing hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, nitrogen and sometimes contain phosphorus and sulfur. The protein has an important function for life, especially human. Amino acids contained in protein function to form tissues in the body. In addition, the protein is also useful to help regenerate and repair cells in the body.

Protein is very beneficial to human health. Various studies have shown that proteins can be beneficial to health, diet, lose weight, increase metabolism and to improve the immune system.

Proteins are divided into 2 types, including:
1. Animal Protein
Animal protein is the protein content of animal origin. This protein is called complete protein because it contains all the essential amino acids. Source of animal protein-containing foods such as meat, fish, chicken, eggs and milk.

2. Vegetable Protein
Vegetable protein is a protein derived from plants. These proteins are often called incomplete proteins because plant proteins do not have one or more essential amino acids. Source of vegetable protein foods such as potatoes, fruits, various kinds of beans such as soybeans, peas, red beans and green beans.
